Radagio was founded in January 2007 by Adriaan Bloem and Raimond Kempees. They have executed a multitude of content management implementations, both open source and commercial systems, as well as having developed their own CMS. This makes them keenly aware of the pitfalls in any CMS project, but more importantly, how to avoid them. They are both spirited advocates of the value content management can bring to an organisation - if executed in the right way.

Adriaan Bloem has worked with internet technology since the early nineties. Over the years, his experience has kept pace with the maturation of the web, and the knowledge of this evolution allows him to have a keen eye of where to go in the future. As developer, project manager and analyst he has designed a multitude of web applications, educated hundreds of people and seen many projects to a successful end. He enjoys picking apart the technology (and the occasional bits of code) as much as he likes talking and writing about it, and figuring out what the best match would be. Now specializing in web content management and enterprise search, he's Radagio's go-to guy for strategy, selecting systems, second opinions, mentoring and education.
Adriaan is member of the steering committee of CM Pros Benelux. He is also contributing analyst at CMS Watch, lead author for the 4th edition of the Enterprise Search Report and regularly blogs about web content management and enterprise search on CMSWatch.com.

Raimond's experience as head of IT at a law firm, lead developer and technical architect for large-scale web content management implementations allows his in-depth understanding of abstract theory to be firmly rooted by a practical sense of purpose. He is unusually agnostic in the open source vs. commercial software debate and is fluent in multiple languages. This, combined with strong people skills, allows him to translate between developers of various backgrounds, while never loosing sight of the sense of direction of a project. A skilled musician in his spare time, in his professional life he maintains the harmony in the teams he works with.
